Pickleball in Canton, Ohio

Canton offers a diverse pickleball scene with public parks, rec centers, and indoor clubs. New facilities are opening soon, providing even more options for players.

Where to Play

• Stadium Park

  16 lighted outdoor courts. Free first-come, first-served access daily 8?AM–10?PM. There is usually people on the courts in good weather. Most mornings have good competitive play and many HOFC club members on the courts.
• Schreiber Park

  Six outdoor pickleball courts in excellent condition. Courts are generally open to the public and not heavily used. A local group reserves the courts for organized play on Thursday mornings. More details available on the official park page.
• Boettler Park (North Canton)

  Six lighted outdoor courts open to the public.
• Arrowhead Pickleball Courts (North Canton)

• Cookin’ Pickleball (formerly Prime Pickleball Club)
  Reopening in August after facility sale. Plans include court reservations, lessons, leagues, and open play under new management. Contact the club as reopening approaches for details.
• Dink Shots Indoor Pickleball (North Canton)

  Indoor drop-in sessions on weekends and evenings, plus lessons and tournaments. Membership options available.

Lessons

Hot Shots Pickleball Club will offer private and group lessons, clinics, and coaching when it opens—check their site for schedules.

Cookin’ Pickleball is expected to offer similar instruction when it reopens, including beginner clinics and group drills.

Dink Shots and North Canton Racquet Club both offer private and group instruction.

Events

Hot Shots will host leagues, round robins, tournaments, and social mixers after their August opening.

Cookin’ Pickleball is planning leagues, drills, and events under new ownership, starting later this summer.

Dink Shots and North Canton Racquet Club run regular leagues and casual competitive play.

The Hall of Fame City Pickleball Club organizes many local events and leagues and helped bring the Ohio Senior Olympics Pickleball event back to Canton for 2025. Their site lists current tournaments and registration info.

Canton Parks & Recreation continues to support public play and regional programs throughout the year.

Guests can join drop-in or reserve courts at Hot Shots and Cookin’ Pickleball once they open. Guest passes and court reservations will be available—check each club’s site.
